PSA - Mustangs, Rustic Retreats, & Veterans @ Peace Ranch

A generous 5 acre donation of land given to Peace Ranch by Paul Biederman will be developed for a new Rustic Retreat program offering short term intensive therapy services prioritizing Veterans and children & families in crisis, with a focus on trauma and addiction recovery. 

As part of this new initiative Peace Ranch will join the national effort to safely and humanely place wild Mustangs by adopting rescued Mustangs and giving them training and a safe home. Veterans are helping to gentle these historic creatures nationwide with great benefit to both. Mustangs gentled at the ranch will serve clients while getting basic training and be available for adoption by qualifying families in Michigan. The program is projected to launch spring 2024 with our first Mustang arriving May 12, 2023.
