Baylie is eight years old. Born to a mother addicted to cocaine and an alcoholic father, removed from her parents at six months and covered with bruises and cigarette burns, Baylie (not her real name) has spent her childhood shuffled from one foster home to another.

Excited about being invited to apply to be a participating organization with this year’s Swingshift and the Stars event, PEACE Ranch went on a “field trip” to a Swingshift show in November of 2012 to see what it was all about.

Situated on 26 acres on Hooiser Valley Road in Traverse City, Peace Ranch is a rare gem in our community that many people aren't even aware of.
